Monday’s Moments…

Some Men Trust in chariots, and some horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20:7

As we read the headlines about Israel and the world’s conflicts, it’s important to remember that God is still in control and on His throne... The bible tells us we need to honor, support, and lift Isarel up as it is still significant to God’s plans historically as well as future events. We must be informed, but don’t let this World or Wars, or Worries replace your Worship and trust in God’s sovereign plans and purposes. For more information about the significance of Israel, check out this article from Billy Graham Ministries:

Hang on Tight… as this Sunday we are going to conclude our “Follow Me” series as we do short snapshot of our remaining disciples - These common guys that Jesus chose to change the world with His gospel still continue to fascinate us. Join us as we finish this informative and inspiring study and come expect a blessing (and maybe a surprise or two)!

The following Sunday, April 28th our Youth Ministry (along with Ministerial Alliance) is hosting Sean Emory to come preach and also do our Baccalaureate outreach event.

Sean uses his skills as a Perception (Illusionist) Artist to capture the attention of folks who may not usually come to church and present the gospel. Our students have seen him at camp, and want their peers to experience his talents and message here. Sean will preach Sunday morning at FBC, then will make a presentation at the Fort Osage High School Baccalaureate service at 2:00pm, then do a follow-up presentation Sunday evening here at FBC at 7:00pm. This free event is open to all our churches and community – come to any or all the services that day and expect an amazing blessing!

Our sign-up sheet is now available for our upcoming 4-day trip to visit The Ark Encounter & Creation Museum, October 1-4, 2024. The cost is based on double-occupancy and is estimated to be about $325 per person. This will cover your lodging, ticket, and transportation. There will be a sign-up and deposit information at the Welcome table in the church foyer. Please make your $50 deposit check payable to First Baptist Church at the time of sign-up.
