Monday’s Moments…
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord.’ And believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved… for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – Romans 10:9 & 13
Amazing, isn’t it? Yes, God really has made our salvation that simple for us… yet we must be sincere in our confession and profession affirming that Jesus is indeed the way, truth, and life. He willingly demonstrated on the cross how much He loves you and me. Knowing this, why would you not want to accept his gift of salvation?
This past Sunday we not only acknowledge our fallen heroes during our Memorial Worship Weekend, but also launched a new Summer Sermon Series entitled “Lessons From the Life of David”. Our first lesson yesterday was “Having a Heart for God”… next week’s lesson: “When Giants Come Your Way”. Join us this Sunday and invite a friend, or two!
This Wednesday there will be no dinner or kids activities throughout the summer, but we will still continue our adult bible study at 6:00pm as we digest and study Psalm 119, which is the longest of the Psalm’s but filled with much inspiration and information for those who follow the Lord. Come join us at 6:00pm this Wednesday!
Speaking of digesting… since we are not having dinner at church this Wednesday, you are welcome to join us at La Hacienda in Buckner at 4:45pm for a bite to eat prior to bible study.
