Monday’s Moments,
“This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalms 118:24
Easter is now over and maybe you’ve eaten a few too many Reese’s Easter Eggs and you’re feeling it today… Sometimes life is not always thrilling as it was yesterday. However, when you may not feel like rejoicing, tell God how you truly feel, but also truly thank Hin for the blessings of today He has provided. God has given us this day to live and to serve Him – be glad, because serving Him can make a tremendous difference in someone’s life, as well as yours.
What a blessing it was yesterday to come together and worship our Risen Lord! We had a full house, three baptisms, and a great spirit of worship together. Also, thanks to everyone who helped with breakfast yesterday… it was amazing! Be sure to share you FBC pen or Lil’ Jesus with someone this week… we have more if you need some extras to give away.
This Wednesday we will unpack a little more of our Bible 101 “Resurrection” Lesson with some insightful discussion on what Jesus’ resurrection means for us as “first fruits”, and to what our own resurrected bodies will be like. Join us at 5:15pm for dinner, and bible study afterwards at 6:00pm.
Ladies, this week there is WMU at 2:00pm on Tuesday here at the church, along with your next Ladies Night Out coming up on Thursday, April 16th. Details and sign up are on the information table in the church foyer.
Guy’s – Men’s Breakfast is this Saturday at 8:00am. Also, after breakfast we have a few spring maintenance projects we need to work on if some could be available for a short time afterwards.
