• Operation Christmas Child delivers shoe boxes filled with gifts to thousands of underprivileged children around the world.  This ministry also offers a way to minister about the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to people that otherwise might never know.  This will be the last year that FBC will be an official collection center for KC area.

• We have many opportunities to connect in a Sunday School class.  Please see the age-appropriate pages for more information.  Sunday School is our ministry for leading people to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and building on-mission Christians through open Bible Study groups that engage people in evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, ministry, and worship.

• Our church has a Deacon Ministry in place to assist our pastor in comforting and serving our members.  If you are in need of a deacon's help, please contact the Deacon Chairman (on the Contact Us page) or call the church office at 816-650-5632.

• Ladies of our Women on Mission group meet once a month to learn about and pray for various missionaries around the world.  They also participate in projects to help the needy.  If you would like more information or are interested in participating, please contact our WMU Director, Jackie Jordan at 816-650-5892.

• Buckner Food Pantry:  We will always accept donations for the local food pantry.  You may bring your items to the church or to the Annex during the week. The Fifth Sundays are collection Sundays for Non-perishable items for the Pantry.

• Ladies Bible Study:  Beth Moore's "Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent", a seven-week study will begin in February 2008.  Watch for more information after the first of the year.  Call the Church office at 650-5632 to enroll or enroll first night of class.

• Men's Brotherhood Fellowship:  Meets the 2nd Saturday morning of each month at the Church.  All men of the church and community are invited.  Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. - ??.   You can come at 7:30 to help cook!  Lots of Food, Fun and Fellowship.  For more information, call the church office at 816-650-5632.
